September 5, 2026, Guangzhou, China — On September 5, Chinese Charity Day, the "International Healing ESG Sustainable Co-creation Summit," hosted by UNIHEAL International Healing Sustainability Center and HeYi Consulting Center, with RuShui Health Sleep Healing Hotel as the title sponsor, was held at Jinshui Fenggu Seed Warehouse in Tianhe District, Guangzhou. MGSCENT, a natural botanical essential oil brand, was invited to participate in the summit. At the olfactory station within the sustainable healing garden and the healing marketplace, MGSCENT used "scent" as a medium to engage guests and professionals from sustainable industries, healing services, corporate ESG, and investment sectors in exploring how "healing power" can become the next piece of the puzzle for sustainable development.

Centered on the theme "Sustainable Healing: Toward Goodness in the Greater Bay Area," the summit embraced the vision of "Calm the Heart, Nourish the City." The full-day agenda included keynote speeches, six immersive SDG healing stations, an international healing therapist EAP innovation challenge, a roundtable dialogue titled "Rebuilding Mental Resilience in the Age of AI," as well as the Chinese Charity Day dinner and a nighttime sleep healing ceremony.

I. The "S" in ESG—When Applied to Individuals, It Means Healing

A recurring idea throughout the summit was that ESG is not merely about carbon reduction figures in corporate annual reports. Within the framework of Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G), the "S" of social responsibility, when applied to individuals, fundamentally asks a simple question: Can people be truly cared for?

Six cross-sector speakers shared insights from various perspectives including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework, employee well-being and EAP psychological support systems, business for good, ESG disclosure language for Chinese enterprises going global, and career pathways in art therapy. In the afternoon’s roundtable discussion, the conversation evolved into "Rebuilding Mental Resilience in the Age of AI"—as computing power continues to grow, human emotional resilience is becoming the most valuable asset for organizations.

UNIHEAL International Healing Sustainability Center defines healing as: restoring harmony between individuals and themselves, others, and nature through lifestyle reconstruction grounded in culture and aesthetics, without diagnosis or medical intervention. II. Long Lines at the Scent Station: Translating "Invisible Emotions" into Smellable Language

Among the six immersive SDG healing stations set up during the summit, the "Olfactory * Aromatherapy" station was one of the most popular and longest-visited.

Sandalwood, agarwood, benzoin, borneol… As participants dripped these aromatic materials into roller bottles and gently warmed them with their palms, they crafted personalized fragrances. At 9:00 PM, the summit culminated in its grand finale: a nighttime immersive healing ritual. Sixty minutes of deep relaxation were achieved through sleep meditation, singing bowl sound therapy, and aromatic healing, bringing the day’s program to a serene close.
